Specifications

• PWD Fine Cabinetry are crafted in the full-access, frameless construction format. Recognized internationally as the preferred method of construction, frameless allows for maximum storage and access capabilities while exceeding long term strength requirements. All PWD cabinet materials are 3/4" thick multi-plex plywood with a standard clear-coat finished interior.
• PWD uses a unique and superior mortise & tenon system for the assembly of the cabinet. Unlike the typical dowel system, the mortise & tenon system gives full front to back vertical support of cabinet tops and bottoms. All interior shelves are the same 3/4" thick plywood and fully adjustable.
• Drawer box construction options include 5/8" thick, dovetailed maple for superior strength and asthetic beauty, and 1/2" multi-plex plywood for excellent durability and value. Drawer glides are full extension and have soft-close technology. Standard hinges are fully-concealed, 107 degree, clip-on, steel, self-closing and fully adjustable.
• PWD Fine Cabinetry includes 1/4" thick backs and drawer bottoms. Both of which are rabbet-and-groove, glued and pin-nailed.
• All cabinets with doors feature a coordinated matte PVC front edgebanding. Bookcase or open-shelf cabinetry will have wood veneer edgebanding to match doors. Finished cabinetry ends are matching wood veneer.
• Pull-out or roll-out shelves are 5/8" thick maple with dovetail construction. Soft-close, full-extension glides are standard.
• PWD Fine Cabinetry is a member of the KCMA, and exceeds their requirements for cabinet construction and integrity of finish.
